Tranquil and peaceful villa close to town
We stayed in this tranquil, peaceful villa for a week in September with our older Mums. The heated pool was fantastic for them and the quiet, residential setting with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants and beachfront was perfect . We spent pleasant afternoons relaxing by the pool with plenty of shaded areas if required. The villa itself offers modern, comfortable bedrooms and furnishings and the recently modernised kitchen is extremely well equipped. Having the two bathrooms is a great feature with one of the bathrooms nearly being an en-suite for the main bedroom and having a shower room and toilet near to the pool is also a great help if you want to rinse off after swimming. The village is lovely with two smallish supermarkets, a pharmacy and a good selection of a range of restaurants from snacks and bars to terraces overlooking the sea. There are two main beach and swimming areas both of which were suitable for our Mums and would suit young families too. Pollensa itself is a must visit- especially for an evening in the main square where once again there is an excellent selection of restaurants and bars. No more than 10 minutes away are 2 large supermarkets right opposite each other which will meet all your self-catering needs and a visit to the Sunday market in Pollensa which offers both local produce and food as well as everything from clothing to craft and gift items. By far the most important aspect of our villa rental has been the service and attention to detail provided by Patricia and her team. Nothing was too much trouble and all our quite specific requirements for our Mums were no bother.
