When to Book a Mallorca Villa for Summer 2027

If you already know your summer 2027 dates, the best time to book a villa in Mallorca is as soon as your dates are fixed. Villas for larger groups and the peak weeks of July and August tend to be the most in demand, so the earlier you ask, the more choice you have.

This guide explains when to start, which weeks to protect first and what happens once you decide to book with Villas de Pollença, a family-run company renting villas in Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa since 1988.

The short answer

  • Fixed dates (school holidays, a birthday, a wedding): enquire as early as you can, ideally during autumn or winter.
  • Flexible dates: you have more room. Weeks in June and September are usually easier to find.
  • Large groups (10 to 14 guests): start first. There are fewer villas for this size, so the choice is smaller.

Autumn: choose dates and shortlist villas

Start with two or three villas and two possible weeks. Each villa page has an availability calendar, so you can see what is open before you write to us.

Winter: confirm and secure your week

Once the group is confirmed, the rental contract is sealed when Villas de Pollença confirms your reservation. At that point 30% of the total price is paid as a deposit.

Spring: organise the details

The balance is due at the latest on the arrival day. Use these weeks to arrange extras. You can see what we offer on our services page.

Which weeks to protect first

Peak summer, from the end of June to the end of August, is when families, school holidays and the best weather coincide. In our 2026 rates, the second week of August was the highest-priced week at the villas with week-by-week pricing. This gives a useful indication of when demand tends to be strongest, although 2027 prices and availability may differ. Check each villa page for current rates.

If you prefer a quieter and often more affordable week, look at late June or September. Our guide to Mallorca in September and October explains what to expect.
